Guido Rivella's super rare Nebbiolo Rosato not usually available outside the Langhe.  

  • Grapes: 100% Nebbiolo 
    Viticulture: Conventional
    Vinification: Soft pressing and 24 hours fermentation in contact with skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature 
    Ageing: In stainless steel vats. Bottled 10 months after the fermentation 
    Bottles produced: 2,000 
    Alcohol: 13% abv

  • Colour: Medium salmon
    Nose: Complex and elegant with seducing wild berries and crushed flowers aromas
    Palate: Fresh and crisp with citrusy and herbal notes, medium acidity, a robust structure and a lingering aftertaste 

  • After 44 years as the main winemaker for Gaja, back in 2014 Guido set up his own winery at his small family estate in Montestefano. In just under four hectares of vineyards, the cantina produces 15,000 bottles, most of which sell out on release. Gaja quality at a fraction of the price = solid gold
